Vehicle Break-in's & Homicide
Greetings Patrol Volunteers,
Our patrol area has been busy in the past 4 weeks. During your patrols, please keep an eye open for large amounts of broking vehicle glass next to parked cars in the residential neighborhoods. If you see something, say something. Contact SDPD Non-Emergency at 619-531-2000, press the * button, identify you are on neighborhood patrol with Stonewall Citizens' Patrol and explain there is an unoccupied parked vehicle with a window broken out. If time permits and a unit is expected, please stand by until SDPD or the owner arrives. Remember to include this in your patrol report through Volunteer Hub.
Another story that just occurred this past weekend was along the Roosevelt Middle School area north of the San Diego Zoo. Please ensure you know your location and if you were to come across a scene like this do your best to preserve it by not walking around, or near the victim and directing others to stay away until SDPD arrives on scene. Also this would be included in your patrol report in Volunteer Hub.

If you have any questions, concerns, or need to schedule a patrol, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
Respectfully,
Sean
