County of SD Emergency Rental Assistance Program Opens Today

COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program Available in San Diego County
One of our Virtual Patrol reports recently mentioned a community member was concerned about rent. We were able to get the community member in touch with the appropriate agency using our community partnership.
We wanted to make you aware of the following program that opens today in San Diego County. If you are in need of emergency rental assistance because the pandemic has affected your personal finances, please consider taking a look at this program.
The County of San Diego Emergency Rental Assistance Program provides grants of up to $3,000 to cover rent for eligible households financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Applications can be submitted starting December 1, 2020. The County will continue to take applications until funds are depleted.
Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and assistance will be paid directly to the landlord.
For information to see if you might qualify, and a link to the application process, visit the County of San Diego's official website on this new program.
