Community Safety Seminar

This Saturday, June 8th, 1200-1500 (noon-3pm) we will be hosting our Community Safety Seminar at The Center. Please respond to this message if you plan to attend to assist with hosting. Room setup will begin at 1115 (11:15 am) and lunch will be delivered at approximately 1145 (11:45 am). Guest check-in and lunch will begin shortly afterward.
I currently have Yuo and Connor volunteering. It would be nice to have one additional patrol volunteer for check-in 1145-1300 (11:45am-1pm), one patrol volunteer to assist with assisting with set up and monitoring the lunch serving line 1145-1300 (11:45am-1pm) and two patrol volunteers to assist with the breakdown at 1500 (3 pm).
In addition, could as many patrol volunteers as possible share our event at https://www.facebook.com/events/2513017105592136/ or a post about on social media? If you are for a lost of words in promoting, please feel free to use the following:
We are very excited to host a Community Safety Seminar this Saturday, June 8th, noon-3pm at The Center. Lunch will be provided starting at noon, with introductions beginning at 12:10pm. Topics to be covered by professionals from the community will include de-escalation/hate crime definition, victim resources, history and importance of LGBTQ safe places, and active shooter crisis management and response. The cost of the program is free, and we hope to see as many of your staff as possible attend. This program allows Stonewall Citizens' Patrol to carry out our mission to Patrol, Educate, and Raise Awareness in our community. Registration is simple at http://www.stonewallcitizens.org/rsvp If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Sean Redmond, Executive Director at sredmond@stonewallcitizens.org or 619-990-5510
