Greetings Patrol Volunteers,
Tomorrow is #GivingTuesday, and calls for donations will hit the streets for non-profits. SCP is no different and our budget is almost 100% dependant on donations. If you have not already decided in representing a non-profit tomorrow, please consider doing an ask for SCP.
The attached document is a step-by-step guide in getting you set up to ask via Facebook. If you don't have Facebook, there is even a guide to how to ask via email. Our donors do not need to be in San Diego to help us!
Facebook and Mightcause will not charge a processing fee, but if folks still want to donate using our website, they can. They will have the option to cover the processing fee themselves or have it taken from their donation. If you encounter donors who would like to donate via check, they can send to 'Stonewall Citizens' Patrol, P.O. Box 632795, San Diego, CA 92163'
Any of these options are super easy!
We ask that you leave your donation to ask period open through December 31st. If folks donate with Facebook, please be sure to thank them as Facebook does not provide contact information to us. If they need a donation letter, please forward their contact information and amount to me (sredmond@stonewallcitizens.org) and I will ensure they receive a donation letter for tax purposes.
